Refund Policy
Refund eligibility, cancellation terms, and deposit handling for Toolkitcypress vault comparison documentation services.
Overview
This policy applies to paid engagements for vault comparison audits, annual storage reviews, placement advisory, and document reconciliation services booked directly with Toolkitcypress Co., Ltd.
Deposit and Cancellation
Vault Comparison Audits: A 40% deposit secures scheduled visit dates. Cancellations made fourteen or more days before the first site visit receive a full deposit refund minus a ₩50,000 administrative fee. Cancellations within fourteen days forfeit the deposit unless we can reallocate the schedule.
Advisory and Reconciliation Services: A 50% upfront payment applies. Cancellations before work begins receive a full refund minus ₩30,000 administrative fee. Once research or document review has started, the upfront payment is non-refundable.
Full Refund Eligibility
We will refund fees paid beyond deposits if:
- We cancel the engagement due to staff unavailability and cannot reschedule within thirty days
- A written engagement scope was not delivered as specified and cannot be corrected within a reasonable correction period
- Duplicate payment was made in error
Partial Refund
Partial refunds may apply when:
- Fewer vault locations are visited than contracted due to branch access denial beyond client control — we credit unvisited locations at the per-location rate
- You cancel after partial completion — fees for completed site visits and drafting hours are deducted from amounts paid
Non-Refundable Items
- Deposits forfeited under the cancellation windows above
- Travel expenses already incurred for intercity vault visits
- Materials purchased specifically for your engagement (binding, USB drives, courier fees)
- Annual Storage Review fees once the update draft has been delivered
No-Shows
If you fail to appear for a scheduled joint vault visit without twenty-four hours notice, the visit is charged at the full per-location rate and is non-refundable. Branch appointment fees charged by vault operators are your responsibility.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule per engagement is permitted with at least seven days notice. Additional reschedules incur a ₩80,000 fee. Succession-related urgency reschedules within seven days are handled case by case.
Refund Process
Submit refund requests to hello@toolkitcypress.click with your engagement reference, payment date, and reason. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are processed via original payment method within fourteen business days.
Work Already Started
Once a comparison register draft has been delivered, service fees are non-refundable. You may still request factual corrections under the included correction round.
Disputes
Unresolved refund disputes are handled under the governing law provisions in our Terms of Service.
